About
Our Frequency
At MojoMic, we tune in to what the world often misses. Every day, around 120,000 new songs hit streaming platforms—each one a spark in the static. Most disappear into the noise. We’re here for the ones that don’t—the ones that hum beneath the surface, raw and unvarnished, carrying truth in every note.
We believe music is more than sound—it’s confession, it’s courage, it’s communion. It’s the invisible thread that ties a quiet room to a crowded heart. The songs we champion aren’t engineered for algorithms or sculpted for playlists; they’re lived through, written in solitude, whispered in honesty, and brave enough to be heard.
Our mission is simple: discover and share authentic voices—artists who still believe a song can matter. Because in a world of endless tracks, the right song can still stop time, break the silence, and leave a mark on the soul.
MojoMic was born from that conviction. We’re a collective of writers, artists, and listeners who’ve spent our lives chasing meaning in melody. Our reviews, features, and stories highlight indie musicians whose work carries depth and sincerity—the records that might never trend, but will always resonate.
We believe the future of music belongs to those who play from the heart, not the algorithm. And we exist to turn up their volume.
If you’re searching for music that means something, you’re already tuned to our frequency.

Paul Cardall, M.A., Founder
At MojoMic, I believe music should speak to the soul, not the stock market. Too often, corporations turn artists into products, while the true poets and storytellers go unheard.
I’ve spent 30+ years in the music industry — from my first deal with Virgin, to running my own label, to selling my catalogue to Anthem Entertainment. With a Master’s degree focused on music, I’ve seen the tension between art and commerce up close.
MojoMic exists to amplify the artists who matter — not the sellouts, but the poets. The raw, the relevant, the real.
